Our
story starts in 2003. We were simply three guys who set out on a fall
afternoon to seek out the needy on the streets of Tulsa. We were armed
with a whopping five sack lunches to serve.
Today,
we are blessed with a big volunteer base that hands out hundreds of
sack lunches each month. Their hands, feet and hearts have helped
distribute more than 19,000 sack lunches over the past five years.
Now we’re
taking this same type of street ministry into our second city – Denver,
Colo. The weather is a little colder there, but the needs are very
much the same. And the opportunity to help the homeless is even greater.
Our
goal is to give people hope - provided through simple acts of kindness.
What we do shows people a very simple picture of who Jesus is and
the love He has for all mankind.
