Outreach
We
primarily walk the streets looking for people to bless. These individuals
are usually homeless or live in a local shelter. We provide free sack
lunches, clothing and offer to pray with them.
Community
Outreach:
We
work in cooperation with other non-profit organizations and churches
to conduct block parties. This allows us to serve meals and provide
Biblical encouragement in areas where economic needs exist.
Gifts
to Other Organizations:
From
time to time - as an expression of our gratitude for the generosity
we receive at Filling The Void - we may donate food, clothing, personal
products and certain necessities to other non-profits who offer services
that are consistent with our mission statement. For example, we have
provided gifts to the YMCA, Salvation Army, John 3:16 Mission, The
Caring Center, Tulsa's Day Center for the Homeless and the Denver
Rescue Mission.
